Meet the Owner

Hi, I’m Laurie — founder of Bright Box Collective.

I’ve spent more than 30 years bringing people together to solve problems, explore new ideas and turn plans into action. My career has taken me from senior leadership roles in a global organization to launching my own management consulting firm, where I now work with leaders, teams and businesses navigating change, planning for what’s next and finding better ways to work together.

Along the way, I’ve facilitated more meetings, workshops, planning sessions and leadership conversations than I could ever count—and I’ve learned that where and how people come together really matters.

That experience was a big part of the inspiration for Bright Box Collective.

I wanted to create the kind of place I was often looking for myself: professional but comfortable, flexible without being complicated, and welcoming whether you’re leading a corporate retreat, growing a small business, gathering a community group, teaching a class, hosting an event or sitting down behind a microphone for the very first time.

Just as important to me was creating something that could be a resource for our community. Great ideas can come from anywhere—from established organizations and growing businesses to local entrepreneurs, nonprofits, community groups and individuals with something meaningful to share. I wanted Bright Box to give more people access to a professional, affordable and welcoming space where they can bring those ideas—and people—together.

Bright Box brings together many of the things I care most about—connection, collaboration, learning and helping people move an idea forward. My hope is that when you walk through the door, you feel comfortable making the space your own.
